Stent retriever "Grasper"
The stent retriever consists of a metal mesh with a pusher placed in a capsule. The mesh is made of nitinol (titanium-nickel alloy) with shape memory in the form of an open cylinder.
Purpose
The stent retriever is designed to remove blood clots from the lumen of blood vessels in the brain.
Products required for the use of a stent retriever
- The Grasper stent retriever size GS4015, GS4020, GS4025 should be used with a microcatheter with a minimum internal diameter of 0.53 mm (0.021˝).
- The Grasper stent retriever size GS6020, GS6025, GS6030 should be used with a microcatheter with a minimum internal diameter of 0.69 mm (0.027˝).
