Calypso coronary stent with bioresorbable drug coating on the delivery system
Coronary stent with a completely bioresorbable coating containing sirolimus (rapamycin) - a highly effective drug agent for preventing restenosis.
The stent system consists of a delivery system equipped with a balloon (expanding element) located at the distal end of the system, and a stent with a bioresorbable drug coating installed and fixed on the delivery system over the balloon. The drug coating of the stent is a mixture of the drug sirolimus and a copolymer of glycolic and lactic acids.

Intended use
The stent system is designed to fix the lumen of a blood vessel during coronary angioplasty (treatment of stenosis in the coronary blood vessels of the heart) by expanding the lumen of the vessel at the site of stenosis.
